DESCRIPTION:SAGE featured world-renown oceanographer Dr. Sylvia Earle as our 2019 Visiting SAGE. Popularly called “Her Deepness\,” Dr. Sylvia Earle is a hero for the planet. She spoke about the world’s oceans as the source of all life\, why they’re in peril from pollution and climate change\, and how we can save them. She shared her hope inspiring message: together\, we can restore the blue heart of our planet. \nSpeaking to over 700 guests\, Sylvia Earle reminded us that with every breath we take and every drop of water we drink\, we are dependent on our living oceans. We must take action now to restore the blue heart of our planet and to secure an enduring future for everything we care about. \nYouth leaders shared the following six tips to protect our oceans.
